Hi!
I chose to participate in the Summer Learning Journey, SLJ.
For those that don't know what it is here is a brief explanation.
The SLJ is a learning thing that helps you in the holidays to prevent the summer slide.
The summer slide is something that means we lose lots of our
learning in the holidays when we can prevent most of that
by doing 3 blog posts a day for 4 weeks not including weekends.
That means there are 60 blog posts that we can do to help us.
Best of all this is a competition so each blog has a certain amount of points.
So at the end of the holidays our points are added up and we get prizes.
This is my second blog post.
So I did the second activity.
Here is what we have to do.
Now here is my work.
I hope you liked it.
I didn't really know what to do for the
presentation but it still looks cool.
How did your ancestors come to NZ?
Where do you come from?
Feel free to comment your answers
and what you think about my blog.
Until next time...
Bye!

Hey Abby,
ReplyDeleteMe again. :)
What a fantastic post! I know you said you weren't sure how to present this activity but it looks awesome! I haven't seen any other Summer Learning Journey bloggers do it this way - very original. :)
My dad's family are originally from England as well. And Scotland. I haven't been to either of those countries yet though. Have you been to England and Australia to explore the parts of the world your family come from?
Have a lovely day, Abby. Keep up the great blogging!
Mā te wā,
Mikey
