I wish...

Hi!
This week for my home learning blog I chose the...
WISHES ACTIVITY!!!!!!!
I found it really fun.
Even though I had to use my dog as a family member.
I think I did a good job of making it look nice.
Here is the slide...

I hope you like it.
I think it is good.
Feel free to comment on what I did well.
What was your favourite wish out of the 6?
What would you wish for?
Don't forget to comment your answer.
Until next time...

Learning Goal Sheet?

Hi!
This week and last week we have been making our learning goal sheets.
This is because we have achieved our old goals and we get to
customize around the goals this time.
I found this really fun because last time we didn't get to decorate
them and the goals are on our chromebooks so it didn't look nice.
Mine started off really plain with colored boxes and a white background.
Then I had a better idea.
This is how the old one looked...

I don't like it that much.
That's why I'm so glad that we got to make our own ones.
Here is the new and improved goal sheet...

I hope you like it.
I think it turned out ok.
What learning goals do you have?
I can tell from looking at the two goal sheets that
I have improved or achieved my old goals.
Feel free to comment on my goals or the goal sheet.
Do you have a goal sheet?
Until next time...
Bye!

Holes?

Hi!

Last week for my holes activity we had to make
something answering three different things:

Your feelings about what the book is going to be like
Your ideas about what might happen in the story
Any ideas about the main character Stanley Yelnats.
After that we had to have our work checked by
a buddy to see that it answers the questions.

That was my drawing.
I hope you like it and have a bit of a idea
on what the story is about at the start.
Have you read Holes before?
Feel free to comment on what I did well
and what I can do better next time.
I really like the book so far but I have
read it before so I know what happens.

Until next time...
Bye!

What's a homophone??

Hi!
This week (the first week of school) for writing we were learning about...
Synonyms, Antonyms, Homonyms and...
Homophones!!!!!
At the end of our workbook slide we had to make a DLO
(Digital Learning Object) about homophones to help others.
So I set to work and began the DLO.
Here it is...

That was my homophone DLO.

I hope you liked it and I hope that you now understand
or have a better understanding about homophones.

When I first saw what we were doing I had no idea what a homophone
was but now I do and its really simple as you saw in the slide.

I found it really easy after we watched a video about it.
The hard part is thinking of words that sound the same.
Did you know what a homophone was before this DLO?
Can you think of any homophones?
Until next time...
Bye!
