Week 1 - Day 4 - Activity 2

Hi!

In case you still don't know what the Summer Learning Journey is here is an explanation. The SLJ is a learning thing that helps you in the holidays to prevent the summer slide. The summer slide is something that means we lose lots of our learning in the holidays when we can prevent most of that by doing 3 blog posts a day for 4 weeks not including weekends. That means there are 60 blog posts that we can do to help us. Best of all this is a competition so each blog has a certain amount of points. So at the end of the holidays our points are added up and we get prizes.

I think that this activity was the easiest but took lots of thinking for me.
Here is what we had to do.

For this activity, imagine that you were allowed to change your name to anything that you wanted.
On your blog, tell us what you would change your name to and why you would choose that name.

I think I would keep my last name the same though.
Here is what I would choose.

That's the name I would choose and my explanation.
I tried making the O in Clover a four leaf clover but it doesn't look amazing.
What name would you choose?
Comment the name you would choose.
Until next time...
Bye!

  1. Hi Abby,

What a great poster you have created for this activity. That was a cool idea using the clover image to create the O in the word clover.

I don't think I would change my name, I have had it for a long time and would find it hard to get used to being called something else however I am getting married soon so I will be changing my last name then.

Can you tell me what some of the different clover meanings? I think that's really interesting that different clovers mean different things.

Until next time, happy blogging :)
    Emma

    1. Hi Emma. I'm glad you like the poster. Thank you for commenting on my blog. For the clover meanings lots of people consider 4 leaf clovers lucky, that's the only thing I can think of but you can also find 5 leaf clovers that are sometimes considered unlucky. I read that each leaf can mean a different thing.

      Kind regards,
      Abby.
