Resilience...

What is resilience?

Hi!
This week we learnt what resilience is.
Our lesson on it is very easy to remember since our teacher came up and snapped a pen to get the spring inside of it.
The purpose of it was to show that each time you get stretched, you bounce back.
Once the spring bounces back it's a bit longer, which shows that we learn from everything we do.

Here is a DLO I made to explain a bit more about resilience...

That was it, here is the link to the video if you want to learn more about resilience.
The video is mostly explaining about bouncing back if there is a distraction.
I hope you liked it and learnt something new about resilience.
How would you explain resilience? What are some times you need resilience?
Do you agree with the quote? I think it is correct for resilience since you always bounce back.
Thank you for reading/looking at my blog.
Until next time...
Bye!

  1. I like your blog. I do a lot of work around reslience at my work. All of your suggestions are good ones. When you watch the video what did you find the most helpful? Did the video tell you what to do if you were struggling to 'bounce' back?

  2. Kia Ora I'm Jorja from Yaldhurst Model School.

I liked the way you add a link to a resilience video.

Did you think about using a slide instead.

Next time, you could use a slide instead so you can add the video in instead of using a link.

    Kind Regards Jorja.

  3. Hi Abby, It's me! Hana and dare I say, your friend! I mean, I hope you are my friend...

I love the clear introduction! It really stood out! The DLO was great too! The colours look nice!

The quote that you chose was really inspiring! I also liked the way you linked a video about resilience!

Just a small thing, but I think you were supposed to explain the comment you chose. Correct me if I'm wrong though!

    From Hana!
