An easy way to make... AWESOME graphs.

Hi!
Today for Cybersmart we learnt how to make a graph on Google Sheets.
Firstly we watched this video, here's the link; LINK.
Then we went to our digital sign in doc to get some data for our graphs.
Everyday to sign in there is a different theme, so there is lots of different information to use.
I chose to use today's information on Rimu's best subject.
I also decided to do a 'how to' blog post on how to do it.
Here it is...

I hope you liked it or learnt something new.
If you have spare time give it a go and try to make your own graph.
Did you know this?
What's your best subject?
How do you normally do graphs?
I usually just make it myself on the spreadsheet or slides, using a table.
I think that this way is a lot more efficient to make awesome graphs.
After looking around the graph settings there are lots of things you can to to customize your posts.
Until next time...

Week 10 - Reading DLO

Hi!
This week for reading our text was called:
Waiting in the wings, by Hannah Cramp.
In this DLO it shows the star rating, a little blurb and some more things about the text.
This story is about someone who is very nervous for something they are about to do.
I hope you enjoy, here it is...

I think that it was very descriptive of how she was feeling and the author showed that really well.
That was it, do you have reading texts? Do you think you would enjoy a story like it? What's your favourite kind of description to do?

Until next time...
Bye!

House... Bubble art?

Hi!
This week we have been doing House Bubble Art.
What is that?
Well at our school we have houses/teams/groups.
We call them houses, there are 4.
Hillary, Edgar, Rutherford & Ormsby.
Blue, Green, Red & Yellow.
So we made House bubble art, bubbles using our house colours.
I am in Rutherford, red, so here is the process and my final product of my Bubble art.

That was my art, I hope you enjoyed the slide.
As you saw, I made lots of mini ones to fill in the gaps.
Once everyone in the school is done their own they will be put together to make a big picture.
Did you enjoy the slide? Would you want to do this? What one of my many did you like best?
If you have any questions comment them and I will try and reply.
Until next time...
Bye!

How to...

Hi!
This week I wanted to post a how to slide.
So I thought for a bit and decided how to: use the draw tools to make a picture.
The draw tools are very helpful if you want to make something for a front cover. Or just a picture to go with some text.
I hope you learn something new about this.
So here it is...

Comment if you think I could change something about this to make it easier to understand.
Should I do some more of these? If yes then what tools should I explain how to use? Did you know this already?

If you are finding it hard to make a good picture. You can also trace other pictures, but remember to change it and make it your own. 👍

My favourite one would be curve then polyline, then scribble. What would yours be?
Good luck if you want to try using these.
Overall I think that these tools are very helpful.
Until next time...
Bye!
